About Messuri SAS
Where The Stars Of Tomorrow Learn From The Players Of Today
After a long and successful collegiate and pro career, John Messuri created MESSURI'S SKATING AND SKILLS in the hopes of helping and inspiring the young players of tomorrow. Though since its creation in 1992, it has become much more than that. In recent years, MessuriSAS has grown from a one week camp in august to a summer-long developmental program run by his son, Anthony, that caters to each of its players personal developmental needs. John has never believed that every player grows the same way, so we at MessuriSAS have always asked the question "Why should they be coached the same?". The simple answer is; they shouldn't. We do not believe in generic programs that force players to shoot and skate in ways that their body is not made to do, instead we watch and learn from a players tendencies and try to correct them through what we see. No player should do the drill the same way as the next. Hockey is an ever-changing game, and so is the hockey-player, which is why choosing Messuri's Skating And Skills as your developmental location always has been, and will continue to be, your choice for preparing for the next level and beyond.
